#BS_Case:
NVTS LLC is the largest egg producer in Mongolia, solely providing 70% of egg production and 50% of poultry business in the domestic market. The company’s comprehensive approach to food, agriculture, and farming established a highly efficient system of egg production in Mongolia, resulting in an increase in the number of laying hens to one million and a decrease in egg imports by 90%. 

 #BS_Challenge:
To rebrand NVTS’s egg brand, Chandmani Standard with a new visual identity that illustrates the company’s core values. To create communication and package design for Chandmani Standard’s three main product lines: Morning Eggs, Chandmani Eggs, and Nursery Eggs.  

#BS_Solution:
In order to create distinction in the market, we put the brand’s value and personality at the forefront as our strongest selling points. Chandmani Standard’s values are defined as 1). healthy & organic, 2). fresh & reliable, and 3). packed with more protein at less expense. Its personality: nature-loving, health-conscious and family-oriented. Therefore, in the brand’s visual identity, we included warm earth tones, such as browns, oranges and pearl white in the color palette and simple, approachable fonts in the typography.

After defining the brand’s values, personality and place in the market, we translated our findings into three intricate package designs for Chandmani Standard’s main three product lines. 

Chandmani Eggs’ package design is covered almost entirely in earth tones with hand-drawn monotone illustrations of nature, farm and hen. Each element of the package is consistent with the rest. The packaging feels eco-friendly, nature-loving and agreeable.  

The Morning Eggs features a bright yellow sun rising above the typography, giving a fresh morning vibe. The background consists of eggs laying on top of hay, over a wooden table - signaling freshness and eco-friendliness.

Targeted mainly for families who make health-conscious decisions, the package design for Nursery Eggs is more animated and vibrant, suitable for wide range of age groups. The bright colors of the illustration is balanced by earth-toned typography and pearl white background, on-theme with the rest of the package designs.
