#BS_Case:
Bank of Mongolia, or Mongol Bank is the central bank of Mongolia whose objective is to ensure the stability of the Mongolian tögrög. Mongol Bank promotes balanced and sustained development of the national economy through maintained stability of the currency, financial markets and banking systems.

#BS_Challenge:
To design a new brand logo for the central bank of Mongolia that is rich in symbolism and adequately representative of Mongolian and Mongol Bank’s values, objectives and philosophy. 

#BS_Solution:
Bank of Mongolia’s logo is formed as a round coin over a blooming lotus. Within the coin, Soyombo, a symbol representative of Mongolian ethnicity, values and culture, resides prominently in the center over a hand-drawn lettering of the bank’s name.  

The lotus, associated with purity, delicacy and stability, is a symbol of the bank’s principles, values and objectives - developing a stable Mongolian currency and economy, treated with pure honesty and careful  management. The blooming effect of the lotus symbolizes youth, prosperity and the ever-evolving nature of life. 

Hand-drawn lettering of the bank’s name is intricate and calligraphy-like. This sets apart Mongol Bank from other banks and fortifies its authority as the central national bank of Mongolia. Beneath the lettering, three flames emerge, representing Mongolia’s three main national treasures - gold, treasures and currency reserves.

Mongol Bank’s logo is an emblem Mongolian values and financial principles - eternal stability, constant development, prosperous youth, and success. We are humbled to have been part of Mongol Bank and its legacy.
