#BS_Case:
The High Tech Challenge is Special Olympics Northern California’s (SONC’s) signature golf tournament and fundraiser. It brings together business and community leaders in support of SONC’s life-changing work. It’s a day of friendly competition and fund raising event which advocates SONC’s work to transform the lives of nearly 26,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities through sports and education. The High Tech Challenge this year being held at Silverado Resort in the heart of Napa Valley, California in which many tech giants and big companies operate and were able to participate in this great event too.
#BS_Solution:
Brainstorm Branding Agency took a part in this prestigious work as making the logo and visual identity that will be used for the next ten years. First of all, we came up with a typography in sleek, orthogonal sans-serif forms, which is inspired by Ultra modernism and Futurism, so that it can keep the sense of technology as well as the feeling of specialness and uniqueness.
Second, the symbol is a topographic map that represents a golf course. Looking at it closely, you can notice it reflects the movement that broadening or dilating outwardly form the center.
With this, we wanted to imply spreading of inspiration and stretching of uplifting in the community, furthermore, contributing to development of inclusive society.
Finally, for our logo color we choose the green as a symbol of peace, harmony and hope along with the purple as a symbol of royalty and virtue. Presumably, the color combination can suggest amicable, affirmative, and delightful vibes, we hope.
Having done that, it was such an honor for us working on this kind, heartful project, and contributing for more inclusive, compassionate society.
